SET THE MOOD

Create a festive “Fiesta Spirit” by setting the table with a bright red tablecloth; use double stick tape to spot stick some Mexican Flags; use green crepe paper streamers to loop in front of the table; then use some small sequined sombreros (various sizes) throughout the table to highlight some of the products you’ll be demonstrating.

You’ll want to use some festive foil paper in gold & black around some boxes of various heights to create a tableau with your display. Otherwise, use festive napkins over acrylic stands of different heights.

It’s a good idea for most consultants to carry 2 Oval Microwave Cooker because 1 will be for cooking use and the other for display!

Try to set your products up in $70, $95 and $120 Host Dollar Increments and make sure to carry the current Host Gift Special.

A DATING BID

To start, let the guests know that the “total” cooking time for this recipe will be around 20 – 25 minutes (plus 5 minutes standing time). Let them know that the ground beef or turkey will be cooked on high 4 minutes per pound (650-800 watts: remember to adjust the cooking time if the microwave is over 800 watts).

Let them know that whether it’s a Housewarming, Bridal Shower, Best Dressed Banana Demo, 7-Up Demo, … or any other kind of demo, you are thanking the Hostess for the privilege of being in her home (give the Hostess some of the token gifts she has earned from the Hostess Tic-Tac-Toe as you’re speaking), and that with $400+ in sales, she’ll reach Host Gift Level. 2+ Datings, the Hostess will receive an extra gift.

RECRUITING BID

Close with … “As you can see. Tupperware has so many gift ideas to choose from … we save you time & energy … and we make a lot of “cents” (shake the Quick Shake) when it comes to the everyday needs of your lifestyle. There’s no time for a Siesta when you have a Tupperware Fiesta … when I work, it’s a party … and just like the prizes from a pi?ata, Tupperware has many gifts to give you … fun, friends, personal growth, a career of choice and money in the bank!

GAMES

MEXI-MIDGET JUMPING BEANS

Divide the guests into two teams! Take 2 midgets and fill them with navy beans or black eyed peas. Using 2 mini sombreros, each guest must dump the beans into the sombrero, then 1 by 1 put them back into the midget and seal the container; then pass everything to the next guest. The first team that has completed this game and has all their beans in the midget, wins! At this time, you can give the winners extra auction bucks, but pass out a small gift to everyone, like a whistle straw or toothbrush holder or citrus peeler.

THE NAME GAME

Using the old standby of the “Name-Game”, let everyone introduce themselves and with the 1st letter of their 1st name, either use a Mexican food, Mexican city or Mexican clothing. Give everyone auction bucks that plays, but have a special gift for the last person in the line!

**You can set this demo any way you wish … some of the items, like the Hostess Gift Special can be put in another part of the room on gold and red napkins with a place card letting guests know that with $400+ Party Sales, the Hostess can receive it FREE! Let guests know that they can “table shop” while you are helping others with their orders … go to another room, if possible, to help with others … that way, you can approach guests about recruiting!

RECIPE

1 lb. ground beef (or turkey)1 16 oz can pinto beans
1 16 oz can kidney beans1 16 oz can whole kernel corn
(Bluerunner Creole Style)1 16 oz can diced Rotel tomatoes
2 16 oz cans stewed tomatoes1 pkg. Taco Seasoning Mix
Sour Cream (mixed with WasabiLg. Bag of Frito Scoops
Ranch Seasoning to taste)

Place the ground beef or turkey in the Oval Microwave Cooker w/ Rack; Brown the beef (or turkey) on high for 4 minutes (650-800 watts) and let stand for (5 minutes). If desired. Remove to RNS Medium Deep. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese (to taste … or Jalapeno Jack) and set aside. Pour the rest of the ingredients into the Oval Microwave Cooker, then stir in the browned ground beef using the Silicone Spatula. Microwave on high for 8-10 minutes … or until heated thoroughly. Let stand 5 minutes.

Place Frito Scoops into the Open House Individual Bowls and scoop the Taco Soup Mix over the top. Sprinkle soup with Shredded Cheese and add a dollop of Sour Cream.

RECRUITING BID

While setting up this recipe, arrive early enough to have the Hostess help you with this recipe; that way, as the guests are arriving (especially the Early Birds), they will smell the food cooking!

While you are showing the Hostess how easy it is to use the items, take the time to plant the seed about selling Tupperware … especially if she loves our product and really wants to have more of it! The 25% personal discount is a “great seller”!

DEMO

After you’ve greeted the guests and made introductions, play the “Know Your Hostess” game using a Fiesta Theme.

* For example, What color does the Hostess think she looks the best in: Chili Pepper Red, Spicy Mustard Gold, Guacamole Green, Espresso Brown, Tortilla White, or Black Beans?

* If money were no object, what kind of transportation would the Hostess use: Burro, Bicycle, 2 Wheel Cart, Chevy Trailblazer EXT, Cadillac CTS, Cadillac Escalade (did you know that Tupperware has a FREE car program … as a Manager, you can earn the FREE use of a vehicle with all the bells and whistles?), Lear jet?

* If money were no object, what kind of job would she have: Hacienda Owner, Coffee Bean Shop Owner, Person of Leisure, Entrepreneur (With Tupperware, you have a Career Choice of a Home-Based Business with Hours that You Control)?

* Demonstrate any Host Bonus Offers. It makes “cents” to save money with Tupperware products; as a consultant you can receive a 25% discount on personal purchases (Put dimes, shiny pennies & dollar bills in one of the bonus items – e.g. Quick Shake – hold it last and shake it when you make the “cents” statement.)! What a great way to save when you’re buying Birthday, Anniversary or Holiday Gifts!

* What kind of Hostess Gift Special would the Hostess choose: _______________ (demonstrate product), ___________________ (demonstrate product), or the “best choice” of all, our Consultant Kit worth $ _________

**Tupper Tip 1: To test your microwave for hot spots, take a paper towel, wet thoroughly and then squeeze out excess water; place on the bottom of your microwave and “cook” on high for 1 minute. Remove the paper towel form the oven … hold it uop to the light and if you see a lot of dry “spots”, then you’ll know that your microwave is not cooking evenly. It’s cheaper to buy a new one than repair one … and you really don’t need one over 800 watts.

**Tupper Tip 2: Did you know that by using a conventional oven you’ll pay $70 for 10 hours operating time; but by using the microwave, the cost is only $7!

Involve guests in describing features & benefits of your $70 (Set A), $95 (Set B) or $120 (Set C) Gift Sets (give Auction Bucks; this is also a great way to pick out recruit leads). Use brightly colored place cards labeled A, B or C with the price on the front. Place the card on the brim of a mini sombrero and tell the guests to write down Gift Set A, B or C on their order form. You will have the item #s & individual prices on back for your own reference.

DEAL OR NO DEAL BOOKING GAME!!

Use a piece of sturdy board, cut out 15 cases and tape a small card on the back with your give-away-gifts on each case. I put bright squares behind each case to jazz up the game board. Then use a small piece of Velcro to hold the suitcase onto each square (in the handle area). Change the prizes on back around occasionally if you do this a lot.
Give away gift ideas:
5 – $15 Free HGP at your Party
1 – $100 Auction Money
2 – $5000 Free Auction Money
1 – 1 Free 10oz. Jar Candle
2 – Host a Buddy Party Get a Free Bean Pot (Parties Must total $400 or more)
1 – 50% off 1 item on your order
1 – Free shipping tonight
2 – Earn Hawaii Free when you or a friend joins HGP ask me.

Just before having your customers order, tell them we are going to have a quick game that can earn them extra special prizes tonight! Behind each case are special prizes like free shipping, a free jar candle, extra auction $$$ or a free $15 gift of your choice at your HGP Party.
“Now as you trust that I will pay out the free gifts, I also trust you to book & hold your party if that’s what you win”. Say, “DEAL OR NO DEAL?”

The Designer has 15 Numbers in her hand and scuffles them, ask each guest & hostess to take one. If you have more than 15 guests, use a second set of numbers to pick from (have ready ahead of time for larger parties). The designer asks the first guest to your right if she would like to keep what she has in her case for $2000? DEAL OR NO DEAL? If she plays, pay her $2000 auction money and tell her we will open her case when everyone has had a chance to play. Ask the next guest, if she says “No Deal” say, Ok, Just think about it and I’ll come back to you. (Guest’s usually laugh a bit). Go around the room and you should have several “DEALS” and a few “NO DEALS”. Go back and offer the first guest who said “NO DEAL” $4000 to play, “DEAL OR NO DEAL”? Use your own judgment on how high you want to pay them to play. The auction $$$ is FREE and we need bookings, so really ham this up as you play. If you can’t get them to play, take their case number. Now go around the room and let the guests who said “DEAL” opens their case! I usually get severally bookings/buddy parties from this and it’s fun!! Next show the “NO DEAL” players what they missed. (Guests case was #2, turn #2 around and show the guests). Once I get them started ordering, I get my open dates sheet out and pass it around to the winners of the $15 Free Gift at your party/Free Bean Pot-Buddy Party cases. It’s irresistible, they all want to play.

You can also make a sponsoring “DEAL OR NO DEAL” Board, and have Designer Benefits on the back of each case. Have 4-5 cases say $25 off your kit when you join HGP and sell $1500cv. It’s just a fun way of sharing the HGP opportunity.

20 GREAT IDEAS FOR BOOSTING YOUR VOLUME with the HOLIDAY

20 GREAT IDEAS FOR BOOSTING YOUR VOLUME with the HOLIDAY PRODUCTS

1. Let all of your clients know that our new “Fall Spa Line” is now available! The best way you can do this is to plan your own Holiday OPEN HOUSE showcasing our new “Fall Spa Line” plus participate in the “Showcase Showdowns” we all have going on right now.

-On top of the Showcase Showdowns, you will want to have at least one Open House of your own EACH month of the holiday season. If you want to change it up a bit, just have a different theme each month.

-One month, you can use the “mystery hostess” idea to entice more people to come – send out invitations with different ways to earn raffle tickets, (for ex. 1 ticket for RSVPing on time, 2 tickets for bringing a friend, 1 ticket for each $25 you spend, 10 tickets for booking a show) and let them know that someone will be the “mystery hostess” and will win $100 in free products!

-Another month, you can do a “Pampering & Relaxation” night featuring our new “Fall Spa Line”.

-Another month, you can have a “Make your own Gift Basket” party, featuring ideas for Teacher gifts, Secret Santa gifts, office gifts, grandmother gifts, etc. Go to the Dollar Store and get some baskets, filler, ribbon & cellophane. Have an assortment of the mini’s & a few full-size products on hand. You can have some sample ideas to show, and then let them make their own baskets. Keep the supplies simple, it does not have to be elaborate! You can also have a few gift baskets already made up available for purchase or to take orders.

-When you mail your invitations out for any of your events, you absolutely MUST follow up with phone calls to see who can come. People are just too busy now-a-days to remember to RSVP, but most people really DO appreciate you calling them to remind them, and then you will have a much better turnout, too!

2. “Pick-n-Mix” baskets – you will want to have these at your Open Houses, take them to your classes, if you do any craft fairs or church bazaars, take them anywhere you go where you might be able to help someone with gift ideas.

-I make one basket with all of the aromatherapy lotions, the Ginger Citrus washes, and the mini Hand & Foot cremes. In another basket, I put all of the other mini products – the sea salt scrubs, body buffs, body butters, etc. I like to keep it simple. You can choose your own prices you want to offer. Mine are just an example – you can do the lotions & washes for $4 each, and the other assortment for $9 each.

-Then you can get these nice drawstring bags (I got mine at AC Moore – sometimes you can find them at the Dollar Store), and I throw in some fancy silver or gold shredded basket filler, and let them make their own gifts – they can “pick-n-mix” whatever products they’d like.

-If you want, you can sweeten the deal with a special offer – purchase 5 mini products, get 1 FREE! Or you can offer 10% off their order if they purchase 5 or more.

3. Prepare “TESTER BASKETS” with our mini aromatherapy/holiday products and give one to each of your hostesses to share with their friends & co-workers. Include a few catalogues and order forms.
—They can collect outside orders for their parties – I like to give them an incentive – if they collect $250 in retail orders before their party, I will give them $350 in free products. Not only will the “tester baskets” help to increase your party sales, but it will get the hostesses friends excited about coming, and you may have a better turnout for her party. Please call me if you don’t know how to do the $350 for free

Also, use the “tester basket” for those people who do not want to do a party in their home. When you are trying to get bookings, offer a “Basket-to-Go” party to those people who do not want to host a party in their home.
—Give them some great incentives – I like to offer DOUBLE hostess rewards if they collect $500 in sales, and I offer the Travel Set for free if they get 2 bookings for me.

You should also take your own tester basket to work with you if you do something other than Arbonne.
Everyone should keep a tester basket on them at all times in their car, wherever they go, because you never know when you will be in a position to share with someone.
Keep the back of your car equipped – I like to even keep a sampling of the “pick-n-mix”. You never know when you will be able to help someone with a gift idea – when you are at the bus stop, or picking up your kids or dropping them off at school or sports functions, when you have doctor or dentist appointments.

4. “Tea & Cream” idea. I get coffee mugs, and place in them a mini Hand crme & mini Foot crme, along with 2-3 of our Herbal Detox Tea bags. (hence – tea & cream), I also include a sell sheet for the Detox Tea that I fold up and place inside the mug, along with my business card and a coupon.
**These make great teacher gifts – you can get mugs with apples on them for instance. These also make great gifts for office workers, grandmothers, etc.

–When you are making gift baskets, you always want to include some “extra” items in them – your business card, if you have room for an Arbonne NOW brochure, the Before & After brochure, some other skin care or hair care samples, and some type of coupon or special that you are offering – like $10 off your next purchase of $50 or more, or an extra $50 in free products for hosting a party. (see attached “Lucky You” coupon)
***You have no idea who that person is buying that gift for, so this gives you a potential future client.

5. Look in the local papers for craft fairs/church bazaars, and contact them to set up a table. This is a great time of year for this. You can display your holiday gift baskets for purchase, and the holiday mini “pick-n-mix”. Have some type of raffle or drawing to get more contacts who you can follow up with. You may get bookings or even business builders – it is a great way to network with people and to get your name out there!

6. CORPORATE GIFT-GIVING – Contact business owners, doctors and dentist offices, real estate offices, etc. to help them with their holiday shopping for either their own employees or their clients. (Sample letter www.thewiserway.com , or one is attached)

7. Make up gift certificates to offer to anyone who does not know what to get for someone, including businesses. You can offer $25 gift certificates for $20 to sweeten the deal, or for a certain quantity order. Also check out www.johnsonscreativeconcepts.com for some amazing fliers and coupons for Arbonne Consultants at very reasonable prices.

8. Contact schools and other establishments who might be interested in fund-raising. This is a great time of year for this, and our holiday products make terrific fund-raisers! Please let me know if this is something you are doing we have other members of our team who have had great success with fund raisers.

9. Contact all of your male friends, co-workers, and acquaintances and offer the convenience of helping them get all of their shopping done in one place! Let them know you have gifts for their spouses or girlfriends, mothers, sisters, grandmothers, aunts. Check out the 12 days of Christmas below…what a great way for them to let their significant others know that they really put some thought into their gift this year.

Also, at your parties, have all your guests fill out a CLIENT PROFILE sheet, asking them for their wish list and their husband’s or boyfriend’s contact info, and ask if you can contact them to help them do their holiday shopping!

10. Find out if you can set up a display at teachers’ lounges or office break rooms for people to do their holiday shopping on their lunch breaks.

11. Contact everyone you know who has children in school and tell them that you have a great idea for their teacher gifts!

12. Take your holiday gift baskets and go around to car dealerships, real estate offices, hospitals, constructions sites, insurance companies and investment companies.

13. Set up 1-on-1 appointments while making follow-up phone calls. Basically, it works like this:

-When you are making your follow-up phone calls to see how your clients are doing w/their products, make sure you mention –
“Oh, by the way, while I have you on the phone, I just wanted to let you know that Arbonne’s new “Fall Spa Line” of awesome aromatherapy products is now available, and I would love to stop over so you can smell them & sample them for yourself. I also have a few great gift-giving ideas to share with you. Would you like to set up a time for me to come over for a few minutes?”

-Another “twist” on this – if you’ve invited them to your Open House, and they didn’t come, you can say “I’m sorry you weren’t able to make it to the Open House – it’s was a lot of fun, but I didn’t want you to miss out on sampling our new Fall Spa Line – I’d love to stop over for a few minutes so that you can sample them for yourself – we have some really great scents I just know you will love! Would you like to set up a time for me to come over and share them with you?”

14. DO YOUR OWN HOLIDAY SHOPPING WITH ARBONNE…… We have the absolute best products around, and doesn’t everyone on your list deserve the very BEST! Order YOUR personal gifts and enough Mini’s to last you all year for hostess gifts and gifts for friends and family in the month of DECEMBER! Arbonne has in the past offered DOUBLE points that month towards the trip.

15. Have a newsletter to announce the new holiday/fall products and that you will be their personal shopper, and they will receive FREE shipping from you. Again, check out www.johnsonscreativeconcepts.com for some great ideas.

16. The fortune is in the follow up – “Hey, did you get my letter?” Include a copy of the holiday sell sheet flyer. The letter gives you a reason to call them, send them a wish list to fill out with what they want, the contact name and the best time to call.

a. Have in your letter that the first 5 people that call you back for a holiday party will get their name put in a drawing for a FREE RE9 set or $250 in holiday products
b. Thanksgiving Day Sale – the busiest shopping day of the year! Shop from home on this day! Receive a free gift, free shipping and a 50% discount when they buy $175.
c. Send Emails AND make phone calls a few days prior to your event to remind them. Remember it is a Crazy time of year.

17. At your parties:

If you can, have cash and carry available at your parties.

Ask people “Who do you still need to buy for?”

Always offer the RSVP as a way of them doing all their shopping

Offer Gift Certificates

30 minute Holiday Presentations! – this is meant to be a very limited 30 minutes. Your presentation should generally take about 15 minutes as you introduce the products and pass them around. Ask your hostess to only make up a plate of cookies and a beverage to be served at the end of the presentation.

Set up 5 appoints in one day – you will need a large basket to put all of our items (make it easy and portable) a holiday table cloth, holiday candle (ours of course!), matches, small CD/Cassette player with good Holiday background music, catalogs, order forms, business cards, pens, holiday products (one of each so they can smell and see the size), When you are finished, everything back I the basket and off you go!

18. Don’t assume wholesale buyers will get on line and order. Ask them if you can stop by for 15 minutes and show your holiday line, WHILE YOU SOAK THEIR FEET!

19. Add RE9 sample pack in each gift basket or gift tray. PUT YOUR LABELS ON EVERY PRODUCT THAT LEAVES YOUR HAND… YOU DON’T KNOW WHERE THEY ARE GOING TO END UP!

20. Have and inventory reduction sale in December.

Hope these help you all. If you have any questions about the discounts mentioned and how to place those orders so that you are not paying out of your pocket please contact your upline BEFORE advertising. You want to create a commotion in your business! Be glad they are talking about you. You want them to connect your name to Arbonne. Don’t be an undercover Arbonne Agent!!
